Ramsey, MN 55303 Re: Vacation of Drainage Easement Lot 3, Block 4, Menkveld's Country Park Dear Mr. and Mrs. Kellogg: As requested by the Ramsey City Council at their May 28, 1985 meeting, this letter is to inform you what the City requirements will be prior to vacation of the drainage easement on the northwest corner of Lot 3, Block 4. The requirements are as follows: Excavate the 30 feet wide easement between Lots 3 and 4, Block 4, Menkveld's Country Park to a depth of 1.8 feet below the invert of the street culvert at the north corner of Lot 3 a distance of 130 feet. The side slopes on the excavation should be tapered at a 4:1 slope (4 feet horizontal to 1 foot verticle). Grade the ditch on the south side of 163rd Lane N.W. from the northwest corner of Lot 3 to the southwest corner of Lot 4 at a depth of 1.8 feet below the street culvert at the north corner of Lot 3. 5 Cut a swale along the west line of Lot 3 starting at the northwest corner of Lot 3 continuing south approximatley 20 feet to allow for runoff from Lots 2 and 3 to flow into the ditch and drainage easement between Lots 3 and 4. e Ail slopes, swales, ditches must be restored with 3 inches of topsoil and seed.
