Councilmember moved for its ad6ption: introduced the following resolution and RESCLUTION J85- RESOLUTION DECLARING COST TO BE ASSESSED AND ORDERING PREPARATION OF PROPOSED A~SESSMENT (Ramsey Terrace ~84-16) WHEREAS, a contract has been let and costs have been determined for the tarvia surfacing improvement of the following streets: a) Krypton Street N.W. between 142nd Avenue N.W. and Industry Avenue N.W. (County Road ill6) b) Junkite Street N.W. between 140th Lane N.W. and 142nd Avenue N.W. c) Iodine Street N.W. between 140th Lane N.W. and 142nd Avenue N.W. d) 140th Lane N.W. between Krypton Street N.W. and Iodine Street N.W. e) 142nd Avenue N.W. between the west plat boundary of Ramsey Terrace and the east plat bo~dary of Ramsey Terrace. and the contract price for such improvement is $ and the expenses incurred or to be incurred in the making of such improvement amount to $ so that the total cost of the improv~ent will be $ . NG~ THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA GOUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as foll~s: 1) The portion of the cost of such improvement to be paid by the City is hereby declared to be $ and the portion of the cost to be assessed against benefited property owners is declared to be $ . . 2) That the City Administrator/Clerk, with the assistance of the City Engineer of Hakanson Anderson Associates, Inc. shall forthwith calculate the proper amount to be specially assessed for such improvement against every assessable lot, piece or parcel of land within the district affected, without regard to cash valuation, as provided by law and he shall file a copy of such proposed assessment in his office for public inspectin. 3) The City Administrator/Clerk shall upon the completion of such proposed assessment, notify the City Council thereof.
