Councihnember Strommen introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #04-04-095 RESOLUTION AMENDING RESOLUTION #02-08-183 ALLOWING THE CITY TO ENTER INTO AN AGREEMENT WITH THE STATE OF MINNESOTA FOR DESIGN, CONSTRUCTION, AND OPERATION OF A NORTHSTAR COMMUTER COACH DEMONSTRATION PROJECT PARK AND RIDE FACILITY. WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey approved the attached Resolution #02-08-183 allowing the City to enter into an agreement with the State of Minnesota for a Park and Ride facility; and WHEREAS, the State of Minnesota, would like to enter into a formal application for the usc of those federal funds; aud WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey is in support of the project; and WHEREAS, the work for the grant and project memorandum preparation have been added to the cost of the work. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA: 1) That the City of Ramsey enter into a Grant Contract with the State of Minnesota to reccive Federal Transit Administration fund to be used for the design and construction of the Park & Ride lot. 2) That the City of Ramsey agrees to provide a local match of the federal funds, in cash or in kind, of 20% percent of the total project cost. 3) That the City of Ramsey authorizes the City Administrator and the City Attorney to execute the Grant Contract and any amendments thereto. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Pearson, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Gamec Councihnember Councihnember Councilmember Councihnember Councilmember Councihnember Strommen Pearson Cook Elvig Kurak Zimmerman and the following voted against the same:
