PUBLIC HEARING Vacation of Old C.S.A.H. %5 in front of Lord of Life Lutheran Church (Notice of this public hearing was published on August 30, 1985) CASE 101 VACATIG~ OF ~n C.S.A.H. #5 IN ~ OF LORD OF LIFE LUTHERAN C~UR_CN_ ~his section of the old right-of-way no longer serves a function and adjoing another small parcel that is tax forfeit. The vacation would allow the adjoining property owners to purchase the property and join it with their existing parcels. ~is would not only clear up the tax records but would also place s(~e of the property back on the tax rolls. ~he City Charter requires that this vacation be done by ordinance. The City Council introduced Ordinance %85-12 vacating this land on August 27, 1985. Attached is the following information for your consideration: a. Map of property to be vacated b. City Attorney's me~o dated August 19, 1985 c. County Attorney's n~mo dated August 13, 1985 d. Ordinance ~85-12 Council Action: Your action will be to apprOVe/disapprove of the adoption of Ordinance #85-12. ~e following proposed mq~ons are sutmitted for your consideration: Motion by~ and seconded by to dispense with the reading of Ordinance %85-12. It is hereby directed that this ordinance be published in the official City newspaper, the Anoka County Union.
