Counci lmember and moved for its adoption: introduced the following resolution RESOLUTION #85- RESOLUTION APPROVING PARTIAL PAY FOR A & K CONSTRUCTION, INC. (Project ~84-13 Pumphouse No. 1) WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Ramsey adopted the following resolution approving the following project in the City of Ramsey: Resolution #84-41 adopted March 12, 1984 for River's Bend (formerly First Guaranty Property) for municipal utililties and municipal trunk facilities. and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Ramsey has adopted Resolution ~84-213 awarding the bid to A & K Construction, Inc. for the construction of Pumphouse No. 1; and WHEREAS, City Engineer, Mr. Peter Raatikka of Hakanson Anderson Associates, Inc. recommended partial payment in his letter dated September 24, 1985, A & K Construction, Inc. in the amount of $6,989.74. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL FO THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the City Council of the City of Ramsey hereby authorizes partial payment to A & K Construction, Inc. for Pumphouse No. 1 in the amount of $6,989.74. 2) That the City Council of the City of Ramsey hereby authorizes the Mayor or City Administrator to sign the release form for this partial payment. 3) That the total amount of this partial payment is not included in Resolution #85-__ adopted by the Ramsey City Council on September 24, 1985, approving payment of the bills for the month of September, 1985. 4) That the City of Ramsey Finance Department be provided a signed copy of this resolution. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: and the following voted against the same: Resolution #85- Page 1 of 2
