The first meeting of the Lower Rum River Water Management Organization <br />was held at 7 AM on Thursday September 5, 1985 at the Country Kitchen <br />located at the intersection of Highway ~10 and Hanson Blvd. Men, ers <br /> <br />present were: Pete Raatikka, Ramsey <br /> <br /> Tom Mathisen, Coon Rapids <br /> Jim Schrantz, Andover <br /> John Weaver, Anoka <br /> Bob Johnson, Anoka <br />Officers elected are shown on the attached list of mem~~s with tele- <br />phone numbers and mailing address. <br /> <br />The following meetings were scheduled: <br /> <br />9 AM September 10 at Anoka City Hall to review and describe the boundries <br />between Anoka, Coon Rapids & Andover. <br /> <br />7 AM September 19 at Coon Rapids Country Kitchen for the final board <br /> <br />action on the boundrieso <br /> <br />It was agreed that during the early development stages, meetings will <br /> <br />be held at 7 AM at an assigned location on the first Thursday of the <br />month ( October 3rd ). <br />The office address is: Engineer's Office <br /> <br /> Anoka"City Hall <br /> 2015 - 1st Avenue North <br /> Anoka, MN 55303 <br /> <br />Assessed valuation was discussed briefly with agreement on the attached <br />1984 valuation sheet. <br /> <br />The budget was discussed. Each community would use the estimate <br /> <br />in the WMO agreement for administrative purposes only (ex, Anoka $4000.00). <br />The planning cost estimate for each municipality will be for a water <br />management plan. <br /> <br />Along with this, the committee discussed the need for an attorney <br />and engineer for guidance through the planning process. Each member <br />was aked to bring suggestions for an attorney and engineer for dis- <br />cussion purposes at the next regular meeting. <br /> <br />Each community'should nominate an alternate where none has been assigned <br />as yet. · <br /> <br />Attachments 2 <br /> <br /> <br />
