Members Present: Councilme~ber Gary Reimann Councilme~ber A1 Sorteberg Also Present: City Advinistrator Lloyd Schnelle Reporter Angela Flint ~ TO ~he meeting was called to order at 8:00 a.m. CITIZEN INPUT APPROVAL OF AGENDA Gommittee approved the agenda as su~itted. (DMMITI~E BUSINESS f&7~ Alleged Conducting Of Private Business On City Tim~: Committee summation presented reviewed Mr. Schnelle's m~o dated September 17, 1985 which in states that the City Attorney and Mr. Schnelle feel the evidence is not adequate enough to base City action on. Committee reviewed two letters dated September 13, 1985 frc~ Mr. Clayton Berg to City Administrator Schnelle; one regardin9 use of City phones to oonduct private business and one to su~it resignation. Mr. Schnelle stated that he feels Case #2, Mr. Berg's resignation, wipes out this Case $1. (k~mittee direction was for Mr. Schnelle to su~h~it his report regarding this situation to Council. Resignation Of Director Of Technical Services: Mr. Schnelle stated that Mr. Berg's last day of work will be October 4; that Mr. Berg's position (Director of Technical Services) will be a difficult position to fill as it encompassed both building and engineering expertise; reoc~mend that the City advertise for the position of Building Inspector.
