I I I I I I I I I I I I I I WHEREAS, O~L~cilme~'ber Gary Reimann has requested that the Ra~sey City Council discuss at their October 8, 1985 weeting the adjourn~rent ti~e of City Oouncil meetings. ~e has p~oposed the foll(~ing: a) Regular Council meetings will commence at 7:30 p.m. and adjourn at 10:30 p.~. Any exceptions to extending a regular Council ~eeting past the 10:30 p.~. ti~e li~it would require a ~mnimous vote of the City Council. b) Special Council meetings will not exceed a three (3) hour limit except by a unanimous vote of the City Council. WRERF2~, the Ramsey City Council received and discussed the above issue at their meeting of October 8, 1985. ~ ~I~EPPRE, BE IT RESCLVfD BI' ~ ~ ~ OF ~HE CITY OF RAMSES, ANOKA (DONTY, S~%TE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) The Ramsey City Council hereby establishes the follc~ing controls on regular and special Council meetings: a) Regular Council meetings will oommenoe at 7:30 p.¢. (unless changed by Council) and adjourn at 10:30 p.r. and any extension of a regular Oouncil meeting past 10:30 p.m. will require a unanimous vote of the Council. b) Special Council meetings will not exceed a three (3) hour limit except by a unanimous vote. ~he ~Ycion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Coumcil~ber and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: and the foll(~ing voted against the saare: whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this the 8th day of October, 1985.
