F~,or'n~,ey Landfill Ad t4o~' <br />October II, 1985 <br />Page .5 <br /> <br />Two special sections of the report shall be preparedl one will detail the methodology <br />being utilized in arriving at the various findings together with pertinent criteria~ and the <br />second shall be a summary to contain the conclusions and recommendations of the <br />consultant in respect to the findings of the study. One element of the conclusions shall <br />be a finding as to whether, if the City of Romsey had similar commercial/industrial <br />development, would the landfill have the same effect upon market values. <br /> <br />Various maps~ graphs, charts~ aerial photographs~ and ground level photographs will be <br />prepared for inclusion in the report and to make the results of the study easily <br />communicated to interested groups. Slides will be prepared of all pertinent graphic <br />materials. <br /> <br />CLIENT'S RESPONSIBILITIES <br /> <br />The Ad Hoc Committee will make themselves available to participate in the rating scale <br />procedure referenced in parts i~ A and B. In addition, the client will furnish to the <br />consultant (~11 engineering data available as to the impact of potential water pollution <br />problems and any subsequent need for accelerated utility installation. <br /> <br />TERt,/I5 AND CONDITIONS <br /> <br />K. Bordner Consultants is prepared to began immediately upon receipt of authorization <br />to proceed. A prelimir~ry draft will be prepared for review by the Landfill Ad Hoc <br />Committee by December I, 1985. It should be noted, however, that in our experience, a <br />study of this complexi'ty will take generally four to six weeks to complete. Therefore, <br />the completeness and finality of this draft will depend upon the date upon which <br />authorization to proceed is received. The final draft and slides can be completed within <br />twenty days after the draft is approved. <br /> <br />I<. Bordner ConsuJtants agrees to complete the study as described in this proposal for the <br />following fixed fees: <br /> <br />A. I Local Comparison ~S,500.00 <br />B.
