Gouncil~ber adoption: introduced the following resolution and moved for its RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE TEMPORARY TRANSFER OF FUNDS FROM THE EQUIPMENT RSV~VIN~ FUND IO RE' G~ERAL FUND WHEREAS, the City's 1985 Operating Budget General Fund did not provide for the purchase of a p~p, hose, piping and fittings in the a~ount of $9,691; and W~EREAS, the ~qui~ent Revolving Fund has adequate funds available to rake a temporary transfer to the General Fund; and WT~ERF2~, the City Charter provides that the Council ray provide for additional funding for the General Fund in e~ergency situations such as currently exist r~ with flooding of h~es and streets in the City. NG~ ~]~EREPORE, BE IT RES~VED BY ~E CITY G~NCIL OF ~E CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, ST~tTE OF MINNESOTa, as follows.' 1) The City Council hereby approves of a terporary transfer of $9,691.00 fr~ the ~ui~ent Revolving Fund to the General Fund. 2) The City Gouncil directs that the above temporary transfer of funds be r~itted no later than Nov~ber 30, 1987 which will allow the City the option of levying ta~s to make p~yment to the Equi~ent Re~olving Fund. 3) The City will pay an interest rate on the above amount of Foney equivalent to its average annual interest rate received on other investwents. 4) The City Finance Officer will be furnished a copy of this resolution and will take appropriate action. motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Council~e~ber and the following voted in favor thereof: and the following voted against the sa~e: whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this the 22nd day of October, 1985.
