Haas Others Present: Jay McLinden, County Administrator; Robert M.A. Johnson, County Attorney; Richard Portnoy, Administrative Analyst; George Steiner, Director of Community Health and Social Services; Bob Hutchison, Director of Environmental Services; Terry Miller~ Site Manoger~ and Don Otter, Vice President, of Waste Management of Minnesota, Ina.; c~d Doug Fountain~ Resident of City of Ramsey. Commissioner McCarron made motion ratifying the recommendations of the Community Health and Social Services Board from the meeting of Thursday, August 8, IC)85. (Report is on file in the County Administration Office.) Commissioner Langfeld seconded the motion. Commissioners Burmah, Langfeld, Kordiak, Cenaiko, McCarron and Erhart voted "yes." Motion carried. Commissioner Burmah made motion ratifying the recommendations of the Anoka County Welfare Board from the meeting of Tuesday, August 20, IC)85. (Report is on file in the County Administration Office.) Commissioner Kordiak seconded the motion. Commissioners Burmah, Langfeld, Kordiak, Cenaiko, McCarron and Erhart voted "yes." Motion carried. Commissioner Longfeld made motion authorizing expenditure of up to $~;,000 for renovation at the current Development Achievement Center iDAC) buildlng to provide services to handicapped children. Commissioner McCarron seconded the motion. Commissioners Burmon~ Longfeld~ I~ordiak~ Cenaiko~ McCarron and Erhart voted "yes." Motion carried. Chairman t<ordiak further requested staff review and prepare a report on the long- range needs of the DAC facility for consideration by the appropriate committee. Commissioner Burmah made motion granting on easement to the City of Anoko for underground utility purposes. (Easement is on file in the County Administration Office.) Commissioner Erhart seconded the motion. Commissioners Burmah, /angfeld! Kordiak, Cenoiko, McCorron and Erhart voted "yes." Motion carried.
