Background information and <br /> enclosures were contained in the January 22, 1985 agenda, which you <br /> may want to review in preparation for discus~i_on of this case. <br /> <br /> On February 12, 1985~the Council disapproved Waste Management of <br /> Minnesota, Inc.'s ~ permit for the S-1/2 of the NE-l/4 of <br /> Section 27, Township 32, Range 25, Anoka County, Minnesota. That <br /> disapproval was based on the following findings of fact: <br /> <br />a) M.S.A. Section 473.806 requires a woratoriu~ on develol~rent <br /> of any properties within the Site "P' designation; <br /> <br />b) The subject property is within the moratoriur area; <br /> <br />c) Neither Anoka County nor the Met Council has permitted a <br /> lifting of that ~oratori~. <br /> <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />Both Anoka County and the Met Council have now approved a lifting of <br />the develol~rent moratori~r. <br /> <br />The current mining request is for 250,000 cubic yards which is the <br />a~ount Anoka County and the Met Council agreed to. <br /> <br />Enclosure (D2-a) contains the following items for your information: <br /> <br /> <br />
