P.E. <br /> <br />November 7, 1985 <br /> <br />Mr. Bill Goodrich, Acting City Administrator <br />City of Ramsey <br />15153 Nowthen Blvd. <br />Anoka, MN 55303 <br /> <br />Re: Sorteberg's 4th Addition <br /> <br />Dear Bill: <br /> <br />We have reviewed the final plat of Sorteberg's 4th Addition and <br />found it to be in conformance with the City Code. <br /> <br />This plat was approved by the City Council on September 24, 1985 <br />contingent upon satisfying the requirements of the City Engineer <br />and City Ordinances and extending 158th Avenue N.W. to Armstrong <br />Blvd. for emergency use. <br /> <br />In review of the street plans, we would recommend that the cul- <br />vert at Variolite Street be extended eight feet to allow for <br />flatter slopes. In review of the design of the holding ponds, <br />the runoff from Sorteberg's Second and Third Additions was not <br />considered. We have estimated the additional runoff from the <br />Second and Third Additions and find that the proposed holding <br />ponds are adequate. <br /> <br />We have estimated the cost of improvements to be $29,200 which <br />includes the cost of the culvert extension and restoration of the <br />disturbed areas. The bond or escrow requirement is 125 per cent <br />of the estimated cost or $36,500. <br /> <br />Since the plat has been approved by the council, you and the <br />mayor can sign the plat after the following conditions are met. <br /> <br />ci~,il · municipal · planning a soils · land surveying · landscape architecture <br /> <br /> <br />
