The EDC has come up with some <br />possible ways to finance the extension of these improvements. <br />The EDC hopes to make a recommendation on this to the City <br />Council early in 1986. ~he promotional brochure developed by the <br />EDC and the Economic Development Company has finally been <br />delivered; E)~hlbi~'~" is a brochure for your information. These <br />brochures will be distributed to the Anoka Area Chamber of <br />Cormerce (serving Anoka, Ramsey, and Champlin), the Anoka County <br />G~amber of Commerce, and the Anoka County Economic Development <br />Partnership. ~he Economic Develol~nent ComPany is working on its <br />annual meeting to be held in January. <br /> <br />Planning and Zoning Commission: The Planning and Zoning <br />Commission has scheduled a public hearing on the proposed <br />recodified zoning ordinance for Tuesday, January 21, 1986. The <br />Commission will begin a review for possible changes to the <br />subdivision requirements in 1986. <br /> <br />Tax Increment Financing: I am working with bond counsel and M & <br />S Development on the development agreement between M & S <br />Development and the City for public improvements to be completed <br />in the Oxbow Addition. In addition, I am working with the fiscal <br />consultants to determine how to structure the financing for these <br />public improvements. <br /> <br />Other: ~he North Metro Traffic Task Force is beginning to review <br />and rate the possible alternatives for another bridge crossing <br />over the Mississippi. Northfork's Environmental Assessment <br />Worksheet (EAW) on the proposed master plan for the remaining <br />development in the P.U.D. has been submitted to the Environmental <br />Quality Board and other State agencies for their review and <br />oo~mmnt. In addition, a scoping meeting on this EAW will be held <br />here on January 9, 1986. <br /> <br /> <br />
