Mr. Root is proposing to use the existing structure and lot located <br /> at 14600 Nowthen Blvd. NW for this business. Permitted uses in the UMB <br /> District include multiple residential developments, professional services (barber <br /> shops, attorneys, accountants, etc.), restaurants, churches, offices, banks, <br /> funeral homes, clinics, pharmacies and public buildings. The City Code also <br /> states that retail business be a permitted use if the City does not find <br /> may <br /> an adverse impact on the area. The Planning and Zoning Commission held <br /> a public hearing on this request on December 3, 1985. The Commission <br /> recommended that the Council approve Mr. Root's request, contingent upon <br /> Mr. Root entering into a development agreement with the City. <br /> <br /> <br />
