Voting Yes: ~(~' Voting no: ~ <br />Abstaining: Absent: <br /> <br />Item C: Request for Approval of Issuance of Industrial Development Revenue Bonds~ <br /> Case of Mr. Greg Johnson for Food --n- Fuel: <br /> <br />Mr. Greg Johnson is requesting approval of $350,000 in industrial development <br />revenue bonds to be used for the construction of the Food -n- Fuel building- <br />on Lot 1, Block 1, Oxbow Addition. As you recall, the Council previously <br />approved the issuance of $300,000 in industrial development revenue bonds <br />for this project on March 26, 1985. As Mr. Johnson is requesting a larger <br />amount, the City must conduct another public hearing and grant approval of <br />the new, larger amount. The public hearing is scheduled for December 17, <br />1985. <br /> <br />Enclosure (DZ-b) contains the proposed resolution approving Mr. Johnson's <br />request for $350,000 in industrial development revenue bonds for the Food <br />-n- Fuel project. <br /> <br />Council Action: <br /> <br />Your action will be to approve/disapprove of adopting the proposed resolution <br />approving Mr. Johnson's request and-to authorize the Mayor and Acting City <br />Administrator to enter into an agreement regarding this request. The following <br />proposed motion is hereby submitted for your consideration: <br /> <br />Motion by and seconded by to adopt Resolution <br />~85- approving Mr. Johnson's request for the issuance of $350,000 in <br />industrial development revenue bonds for the Food -n- Fuel project and <br />to authorize the Mayor and Acting City Administrator to enter into an <br />agreement regarding this request. Voting yes: <br />Abstaining: Absent: <br /> <br />Voting no: <br /> <br />POLICE DEPARTMENT: <br /> <br />Item A: Consideration of Permanent Employment Status for Police Officers <br /> Jeffrey Arneson and James Way: <br /> <br />Both of these officers have now completed their one year probationary period <br />with the police department and Chief Auspos is recommending that they be <br />given permanent employment status with the City. Enclosure (D2-c) contains <br />Chief Auspos' memorandums regarding each officer and also the proposed <br />resolution for your consideration. <br /> <br /> <br />
