He has learned the geographic
data of the city quite well and, according to the other officers,
gets to calls in good time. l'~ile he is very knowledgeable of
statutes and ordinances and procedures he is not at all hesi'
rant to ask if he is cdnfused or needs advice.
I have reviewed his reports on calls he has handled and I
have interviewed his fellow officers. }!is reports are thorough
and well worded. %'~ere he has made errors and I have brought
them to his attention, such errors have not occurred again.
The officers tell me he is personable to work with and he deals
well with citizens and transients. He recently had occassion to
be the first on the scene of a double fatality automobile acci-
dent. This was the first such type of incident he had respond-
ed to in his career and he did an excellent job of it.
I recommend, without hesitstion, that he be accepted at
this time into permanent employee status.
