Mr. Steve <br />De/mca, a member of the Laadfill Ad Hoc Committee, stated that one of the main <br />thrusts of the Landfill ~ttee is to propose legislation and this Landfill <br />Oammittee was formed too late in the year to get much acc~ished in the 1985 <br />legislative session; if the Ommmit~ is extended, proposed legislation OOuld <br />be oo~piled for the 1986 legislative session. Counc~r Cox stated that he <br />would like to see the Landfill Ad Hoc Committee extemded for another 6 months <br />only; at that time the Coumittee should be terminated as he doesn't like to -_~-c <br />committees exist just to create more work for City Staff~ <br /> <br />Motion (tarried. Voting Yes: Mayor Beitman, Counci]ammg~rs Sorteberg, Cox, <br />Reimann and Schlueter. Voting No..
