Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION #16-12-251 <br /> APPROVING FINAL PAYMENT TO KUECHLE UNDERGROUND INC. FOR <br /> IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #12-22, RIVERDALE DRIVE EXTENSION/ <br /> RECONSTRUCTION—ARMSTRONG BOULEVARD TO TRAPROCK STREET <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to a motion of the Ramsey City Council, adopted May 14, 2013, <br /> approving Memorandum of Understanding and Easements for the Riverdale Drive Extension/ <br /> Reconstruction to Traprock Street; and <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to a motion of the Ramsey City Council, adopted May 13, 2014, <br /> accepting plans and specifications and authorizing advertisements for bids for making the <br /> Riverdale Drive improvements including concrete curb and gutter, bituminous paving, storm <br /> sewer, utilities, and other necessary appurtenant work; and <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to a motion of the Ramsey City Council, adopted July 22, 2014 <br /> the bid of Kuechle Underground Inc. in the amount of $2,649,722.45 for the total bid is the <br /> lowest responsible bidder; and <br /> WHEREAS,pursuant to a motion of the Ramsey City Council, adopted March 24, 2015 <br /> Change Order 92 was approved in the amount of$448,651.99; and <br /> WHEREAS, as of December 13, 2016, $2,602,695.15 has been paid to date; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Senior Engineering Technician has inspected the completed work and <br /> recommends final payment to Kuechle Underground, Inc. in the amount of$128,206.49. <br /> NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> RAMSEY,ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA: <br /> 1) That the City Council hereby authorizes final payment to Kuechle Underground, Inc. for <br /> Improvement Project 12-22; Riverdale Drive Extension/Reconstruciton in the amount of <br /> $128,206.49. <br /> 2) That the City Council hereby accepts the project and authorizes the Mayor or City <br /> Administrator to sign the release form for this payment. <br /> 3) That the total amount of this payment is not included in resolutions approving payment of <br /> bills for the date of December 13, 2016. <br /> 4) That the City of Ramsey Finance Department will be provided a signed copy of this <br /> resolution. <br /> RESOLUTION #15-07-186 <br /> Page 1 of 2 <br />
