Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION#16-12-249 <br /> RESOLUTION TO PROMOTE A PATROL OFFICER TO SERGEANT <br /> WHEREAS,there is a Sergeant's vacancy due to Sergeant Tom Lueck's retirement; and <br /> WHEREAS, staff recommends Patrol Officer Chris Curtis to be promoted to Sergeant, <br /> effective December 10, 2016, at$39.08 per hour; and <br /> WHEREAS, Officer Curtis, as a newly promoted Sergeant, will be subject to a 6-month <br /> probation period; and <br /> WHEREAS, all other Personnel Policies and union contracts will apply normally. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> RAMSEY,ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> Motion to adopt resolution 16-12-249,promoting Patrol Officer Chris Cutis to <br /> the position of Sergeant, effective December 10, 2016 at$36.08 per hour based <br /> on step 3 of the 2016 wage scale. <br /> The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br /> , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof- <br /> and the following voted against the same: <br /> and the following abstained: <br /> and the following were absent: <br /> Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this <br /> the 13th day of December, 2016. <br /> Mayor <br /> ATTEST: <br /> City Clerk <br />
