Chris Anderson
From:
Sent: Monday, December 05, 2016 4:21 PM
To: Ramsey Planning; Chris Anderson
Subject: Letter of Support
Dear City of Ramsey representatives,
As a 22 year resident of Ramsey and as a member of the Northfork Homeowners Association (NHA) I wish to
express my support for allowing Edie, Tom and family to keep their beloved Pot-bellied pig. This family pet is
obviously a very important part of their family and has zero impact on the rest of the neighborhood.
As you may already know, the Board of Directors for the NHA is also in the midst of evicting chickens from the
property through a recent rule change - even though the City of Ramsey has approved it. This, too, disturbs
me. Even though there are many tougher challenges facing all of us, it would be good to know that the City
will stand behind reasonable clear-thinking citizens living productive lives.
With the exception of the NHA, I have always enjoyed living in the City of Ramsey. I am a wildlife
photographer and observe herds of deer, pheasant families, rabbits, birds, etc., on a daily basis. I think it says
a lot about who we are as a community when we manage our environmental assets in a responsible and
caring manner. Please decide to leave PETER alone, and -thank you for approving the whole chicken thing.
Jim Crotty
9050 160th LN NW
Ramsey, MN 55303
Sent from Windows Mail
1
