7.05: Consider Adoption of Ordinance #16-10 Approving a Zoning Amendment Related <br />to Brookfield 8th Addition (Project #16-78); Case of Brookfield Land, LLC. <br />Consultant City Planner Maas reviewed the staff report and recommendation from the Planning <br />Commission to approve Ordinance #16-10 to rezone a portion of the subject property from R-1 <br />Residential (Rural Developing) to R-1 Residential (MUSA). <br />Motion by Councilmember Johns, seconded by Councilmember Shryock, to waive the City <br />Charter requirements to read the ordinance aloud and Adopt Ordinance #16-10 Amending <br />Section 117-90 "Map" of Chapter 117 of the City Code of Ramsey, Minnesota. <br />A roll call vote was performed by the Recording Secretary: <br />Councilmember Riley aye <br />Councilmember Shryock aye <br />Councilmember Williams aye <br />Councilmember Johns aye <br />Councilmember Kuzma aye <br />Acting Mayor LeTourneau aye <br />Mayor Strommen absent <br />Motion carried. <br />8. MAYOR, COUNCIL AND STAFF INPUT <br />City Administrator Ulrich announced upcoming meetings and events. <br />Parks and Assistant Public Works Superintendent Riverblood provided an update on the <br />Mississippi River Trail project noting that if the unseasonably warm weather continues the <br />paving may occur still this fall. He advised of an upcoming card making class. <br />9. ADJOURNMENT <br />Motion by Councilmember Williams, seconded by Councilmember Johns, to adjourn the <br />meeting. <br />Motion carried. <br />The regular meeting of the City Council adjourned at 7:25 p.m. <br />Respectfully submitted, <br />lurtis G.
