FROM: City Administrator TO: Mayor and City Council SUBJ: Council Old Business Critique CASE 1: ANOKA-HENNEPIN SCHOOL DISTRICT 11 JOINT POWERS AGREEMENT FOR FOR COMMUNITY EDUCATION; REVISION OF~ This is in regards to the revision of the Joint Powers Agreement which were contained in your Council Agenda dated September ii, 1978 as Case 11 and exhibits #3 & #4. Mr. Jim Stewart will be present as requested by the City Council in regards' to answering any questions on the Community School budget and the revision of the above agreement. Also for your information is a copy of Ramsey's portion of the Community School budget (Please refer to Exhibit #1 this agenda). CASE 2: PLAYING FIELDS; REGARDING SOFTBALL AND ETC.: Mr. Donovan, Chairman of the Park Board, will address this subject. Exhibit #2 contains City Engineer cost estimate for this project. DECLARATION OF SURPLUS PROPERTY; CASE OF 1970DODGE POLARA (Police Unit): Requires Council resolution to declare sur- plus as required by State laws~ The following is a memo re- ceived from Chief Auspos in regards to the old squad: "I would like the Council to draw up a resolution declaring our 1970 Dodge Polara squ~. d car to be surplus property to be sold to the highest bidder. . Because the tires and special alternator could be of value to departments within the City and would have a value of approxi- mately $150.00 I feel that this amount should be the minimum bid. If no bid is received of $150.00 or .higher I suggest that the tires and alternator/regulator be removed and the rest sold for scrap."
