Page 1 <br />Special Council Mtg./7-1 0-78 <br /> <br />SPECIAL COUNCIL MEETING <br /> <br /> CITY OF RAMBEY <br />COUNTY OF ANOKA <br />STATE OF MINNNESOTA <br /> <br />A Special City Council meeting was held on July 10, 1978, at the Ramsey <br />Municipal Center, 1 51 53 Nowthen Boulevard N.W., Ramsey, Minnesota 55303 <br /> <br />M~yor Cox called the Special meeting to order at 10:44 o~clock p.m. and <br />led the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. <br /> <br />Present: <br /> <br />Mayor Co~ <br />Councilman Gamec <br />Councilman Mickelson <br />Councilman Muller <br />Councilman Reimann <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />Attorney Goodrich <br />Engineer Raatikka <br />Building Official Berg <br /> <br />Note: A general discussion was held between the City Council and Mark <br />Hadley and Jim Stewart of the Community School Department regarding the <br />Community School Fall Program prior to this Special meeting. <br /> <br />The purpose of this Special meeting is to take action on the public <br />hearing requests held earlier this evening. <br /> <br />1) Action on Inderieden and Super Bowl, Inc. Intoxicating Liquor License <br />Application. <br /> <br />A discussion ~as held. <br /> <br />Councilman Reimann questioned the size of the building and how the 40 percent <br />of the business being food is determined. <br /> <br />Attorney Goodrich stated that the City is allowed to check his accounting <br />records to investigate. <br /> <br />Councilman Reimann indicated that the City should make sure this check is <br />done. <br /> <br />No further discussion. <br /> <br /> .Motion by Mdckelson, seconded by Muller that the City grant an on-sale <br /> intoxicating liquor license and a Sunday on-sale license to the Super Bowl, <br /> Iuc. The licensed premises are to be located at 5720 138th Avenue N.W., <br /> which is legally described as Lots 6 and 7, Rivers~ e West Addition. The <br /> on-sale intoxicating liquor license fee shall be pro-rated for that portion <br />· of the license year that the business is in operation. The license fee <br /> shall be based on the $4,000 yearly license fee. The $200 fee for the <br /> Sunday on-sale license shall not be pro-rated. <br /> <br />All license fees, insurance and bonds shall be presented to the City at the <br />time the proposed premises are ready for occupancy. If the license fees <br />have not been paid within six (6) months of the date of this motion, this <br />license grant shall be null and void. <br /> <br />This motion is contingent on all required items being presented to the City <br /> <br /> <br />
