Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION #04-08-XXX <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND AUTHORIZING <br />SOLICITATION OF PROPOSALS FOR IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #04-31 <br />WATERMAIN CONNECTION TO WELL NO. 6 <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the AUAR prepared for the Ramsey Town Center has identified the need <br />for additional well capacity for the City's water utility; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it will be necessary to connect Well No. 6 to Pumphouse No. 3 where <br />chemical treatment of the water pumped by Well No. 6 will occur; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Plans and Specifications have been prepared by Bolten and Menk, Inc. for <br />the construction of connecting watermain between Well No. 6 and Pumphouse No. 3 <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />The plans and Specifications prepared for the above referenced project are hereby <br />accepted and <br /> <br />2) The City Administrator is directed to solicit bids for said project. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember ~ <br /> , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />and the following abstained: <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council <br />this the 10m clay of August, 2004. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />Mayor <br /> <br />City Clerk <br /> <br />-179- <br /> <br /> <br />
