Councilmember introduced the folloWing resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION #04-08-XXX <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION ACCEPTING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND AUTHORIZING <br /> SOLICITATION OF PROPOSALS FOR IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #04-32 <br /> SUPERVISORY CONTROL AND DATA ACQUISITION (SCADA) MODIFICATIONS <br /> RELATING TO WELL NO. 6 <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the AUAR prepared for the Ramsey Town 'Center has identified the need <br /> for additional well capacity for the City's water utility; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Well No 6 has been authorized to assist in providing this needed additional <br /> capacity; and, <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it will be necessary to integrate Well No. 6 into the Water utility's existing <br /> supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) system; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Plans and Specifications have been prepared by Bolten and Menk, Inc. for <br />the integration of Well No 6 with the City's SCADA system; <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) The plans and Specifications prepared for the above referenced project are hereby <br /> accepted and <br /> <br />2) The City Adnainistrator is directed to solicit bids for said project. <br /> <br />Tile motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duty seconded by Council_member _ <br /> . , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />and the following abstained: <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council <br />this the 10th day of August, 2004. <br /> <br />Mayor <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br /> <br />-181- <br /> <br /> <br />
