Regular Council <br />Page 5 <br />September 25~ 1978 <br /> <br />JOE SENTRYZ REGARDING RAMSEY WEST STORAGE BUILDING <br /> <br />Mr. Joe Sentryz was present to discuss his request to build a storage <br />building next to his office on Lot 3, Block 1, Riverside West. It is <br />to have an outside similar to the Ramsey West Office Building and is <br />to be 220' x 32'. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman ~ckelson and seconded by Councilman Reimaran to <br />approve Mr. Sentryz request to build a storage building on Lot 3 Bloc~ 1 <br />Riverside West with an outside finish similar to the Ramsey West Office <br />Building. <br /> <br />5 ayes <br />Motion carried <br /> <br />VARIANCE REQUEST; CASE OF TOM HOLKER <br /> <br />Mr. Tom Holker was present requesting approval of a variance to subdivide <br />a 20 acre parcel by metes and bounds into a 7½ acre and a 12½ acre parcel <br />in the Rural Service Area. M~. Holker was requesting the 7½ acre parcel <br />be recorded as a buildable lot and the 12½ acre parcel have a private road <br />to the back of the property with restrictive covenances and have the road <br />maintained by the City. The Council felt it is not feasible for the City <br />to maintain a road of 1,000 feet for one or two houses. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Reimann and seconded by Councilman Mickelson to in- <br />struct the City Staff to prepare Findings of Fact and a resolution in <br />order to disapprove of the application. <br /> <br />4 ayes <br />Mayor Cox abstained <br />Motion carried <br /> <br />BICENTENNIAL MONEY; CASE OF MRS. CHARLES PERKINS <br /> <br />The Council tabled this until the October 10, 1978 meeting in order for <br />them to think of ways to use this money. <br /> <br />NATIONAL FLOOD PLAIN INSURANCE <br /> <br />It is noted a meeting has been set up for Tuesday~ October 18, 1978, at <br />7:00 P.M. <br /> <br />LICENSES FOR APPROVAL <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Reimarm and seconded by Councilman Mickelson to approve <br />the following General Contractors licenses: <br /> <br />#78-191 <br />Development Plumbing <br />Route #3 <br />Elk River, Minnesota <br /> <br />#78-192 <br />DE-K Plumbing <br />721 - 5~h Avenue N~W. <br />New Brighton, Minnesota <br /> <br /> <br />
