& Z -1- <br />10/2/78 <br /> <br /> PLANNING & ZONING <br /> City of Ramsey <br />County of Anoka <br />State of Minnesota <br /> <br />A regular meeting of the Ramsey City Planning & Zoning Commission was held <br />on October 2, 1978 at Ramsey City Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Blvd N.W. <br />Meeting was called to order by Chairman Ken Peterson at 7:30 p.m. with the <br />following in attendance: <br /> <br />Kenneth Peterson <br />A1 Sorteberg <br />Ronald West <br /> <br />Bradley Bodle <br />Gerald Zimmerman <br />Art Dunn (arrived 8:10") <br /> <br />Also present: <br />Pete Raatikka, City Eng:. <br />Lloyd Schnelle, City Admin <br />Wm. Goodrich, City Attorney <br />Clayton Berg', Bl dg Insp. <br /> (arrived 11:00) <br /> <br />Item t. Public Hearing - Wm. G. Easley 'HOme'Occupation <br /> <br />Chairman Ken Peterson began the Hearing by explaining that Mr Wm. G. Easley, <br />4910 - 179th Ave N.W. would like to conduct a small business in his home of <br />sales & service of surveying instruments. <br /> <br />Noel Johnson, 17350 Tonto St N.W. asked if this would be changing the zoning <br />of the house- the answer being "no" as this would be only for Mr. Easley. He <br />would not like to see a sign in the yard, only a small sign on house or garage. <br /> <br />Richard Baker, 4851Salish Circle N.W., would like to see the address of the <br />property on the legal notice for future hearings. <br /> <br />Mr. Easley would like a one - two year business in his home, then move to a <br />plant facility in Ramsey. <br /> <br />Closed public hearing 7:40 p.m. <br /> <br />Agenda approved for October 2, 1978. <br /> <br />Motion by A1 Sorteberg, Seconded by Ron West to approve minutes for Sept 5, 1978. <br /> Motion carried. Voting yes: Chrm Peterson, Sorteberg West BQ~Ie Zimmerman <br /> <br />Correction of minutes for Sept 11, 1978 <br /> First paragraph, The proper owners were not specifically contacted, but <br />the hearing was over boundries for the Fred Armstrong property. <br /> <br />Motion by Bradley Bodle, Seconded by A1 Sorteberg to approve minutes for Sept 11, 1978. <br /> <br /> Voting yes: Chrm Peterson, Sorteberg, Zimmerman, Dunn Moti6n carried <br /> Voting no: None <br /> Abstain: West <br />Traprock Commons Plat - Regarding the permitting of accessory building in ~ovenant. <br /> <br />Discussion as to when the preliminary plat was presented, there was no covenant. <br /> <br /> <br />
