He said he was using paint to mark diseased trees so that when the leaves have fallen this fall, the diseased trees can be iden-".' tilled to be removed. He made 5 visits in May, 22 in June and 28 ~ in July for a total of 55 visits for 3 months. A 1975 leaflet is out on yhe control of oak wilt disease. He will need several hundred of these informational leaflets. Mr. Reimann moved we purchase 300 of these oak wilt disease pamphlets ~310 printed by the U of M Extension Service. Seconded by 14r. He needs assis, ance for painting trees. We will try to get him some help for painting the trees. Committee on Personnel will review his salary situation. Mr. Bacon then agreed to withdraw his weed inspection resignation until the Per- sonnel Committee reviews it. He also said the chemic~]~ 2-~-~-T should not be used in spraying on the United Power easements by this company. We will write a letter to United pOWer Co. inform- ing of this. 10:10-10:25 -- Recess. Hematit~ Church~ Mr. Pittman said Rev. Reed is out of town. He will not be back until next week. Er. Pittman visited the church. They have the ramp from the parking lot to the church done. They have the fireproofing done in the furnace. They have the m~terials to finish other work. The only thing that they can't do is have a 6'8" clearance for the'stairway but they can make it 6'~" which.is_. O.K. with the State Building Inspector. 'It was stated that Mrs. Oliphant had been at. the home on Hematite Street' now. being used ~ as a church, according to Rev. Reed. M~s. Oliphant denied being· at the home. Mrs.. Oliphant~said-she--had-talked-to-Lynn Cla-rk~' the realtor, about the problem. Mrs. Oliphant-thinks Mr. Pittmen_ should be certified. Mr. Pittman will have the complete report at the next meeting. Zoning Certificate for this church can be issued by Mr. Pittman. Virgil Johnson: He has not made the repairs requested. Mr. Pitt- man will make a report on this place to determine whether it is repairable.,to Mr. Goodrich. ~obert Oliphant vs Astrid Guy as Clerk of City of Ramsey and in- dividual - lawsuit. Mr. Goodrich stated that this suit against the Clerk is not covered by our insurance. Mr. Retmann moved our attorney be authorized to handle this matter and to represent the Clerk both individually and as clerk. Seconded by Mr. Gorham. Mr. Cox, Mr. Gotham, lit. Reimann and Y~. Mickelson voted yes. Mrs. Oliphant voted ~o. Motion carried. Donna Nelso~ vs Mayor Cox, Councilmen Reimann and Mickelson. Mr. Goodrich stated that this suit is not covered by our insurance.
