Water trails occur with the presence of the numerous rivers in the Metr6politan <br />Area. These rivers offer the opportunity for canoeing, sculling, trollinE <br />(fishing> and motorboatinE. These uses are relative to the physical <br />characteristics of the various rivers. <br /> <br />The system plan represents approximate locations or search areas for trail <br />corridors. The masher?tan for the trail corridors, developed by the <br />implementing agencies, will define exact routing, boundaries and use of the <br />~rail corridors. <br /> <br />The preliminary locations of the trail corridors do indicate in most instances <br />the occurrence of natural resources such as creeks and rivers, and man-made <br />areas such as roads, railroad rights-of-way and utility easements. The following <br />is a list of these potential areas by county. This list is not inclusive but <br />ra~her a guideline to potential search areas. <br /> <br />1. Anoka County <br /> <br /> a.
