Page 2 <br />Regular Council <br />February 12~ 1979 <br /> <br />Mr. Ardell Braaten, 16550 Coquina Street asked the Council if there were <br />any plans they knew of a gas station being built at the corner of 167th <br />amd Coumty Road 5. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec assured them that if any gas station would be put in there <br />would be a public hearing where people would be notified by mail and it <br />would be published in the paper~ <br /> <br />Mr. Braaten was also asking if there were any plans for'a park on that <br />corner~ He was assured this was an outlot and not a park.and that there <br />was a park down on Ramsey Blvd. known as Titterud Park which contained <br />about seven acres. <br /> <br />Mr. Braaten stated they had a petition from the residents in that area <br />in regards to the gas station who were against it and was wondering if <br />they should present it now or hang on to it. He was told it made no <br />difference as we could accept a petition any time but that maybe°they <br />could present it at a public hearing for a gas station when other citizen <br />input would be received. <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF COUNCIL MINUTES <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Reimann and seconded by Councilman Muller to approve <br />the minutes of the public hearing on the proposed assessment of Variolite <br />Street on January 29, 1979~ <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes Mayor Game¢, Councilman Muller~ Councilman <br />Reimann. Councilman Mickelson and Councilman Cox. Voting no None. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Cox and seconded by Councilman Reimann to approve <br />the Board of Adjustment on variance request of Grosslein on January 29 <br />1979. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes Mayor Gamec, Councilman Muller.. Councilman <br />Reimann Councilman Mickelson and Councilman Cox. Voting no None. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Reim~nn and seconded by Councilman Mic~elson to <br />approve the minutes of the regular Council meeting of January 29, 1979 <br />with the following corrections- <br /> <br />Page 2 Paragraph 6 (~age 5 Paragraph 4 of the January 29 <br />1979 minutes) should read: <br />Motion by Councilman Reimann and seconded by Councilman Muller <br />to appoint Mayor Gamec and Councilman Mickelson to the Budget <br />Committee for the year 1979. <br /> <br />Page 2 Paragraph 12 should read: <br />Motion by Councilman Reimann mhd seconded by Councilman Cox to <br />approve the following standing commissions for the City of <br />Ramsey for the calendar year 1979: <br /> <br />1) Budget Committee <br />2) Personnel Committee <br />3) Economic Development Committee <br /> <br /> <br />
