Regular Council <br />February 12, 1979 <br /> <br />AMENDMENT TO CHAPTER 170.04 OF THE CITY CODE <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Mickelson and seconded by Councilman Cox to adopt <br />ordinance 79-3 an ordinance amending Chapter 170.04 entitled Soils. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes Mayor Gamec, Councilman Muller, Councilman <br />Reimann, Councilman Mickelson and Councilman Cox. Voting no None. <br /> <br />AUTHORIZATION TO CALL FOR BIDS FOR CITY TRUCK <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Cox and seconded by Councilman Relmann to approve <br />calling for bids for City Truck in accordance with bid specificiations. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes Mayor Gamec, Councilman Muller, Councilman <br />Reimann, Councilman Mickelson and Councilman Cox. Voting no None. <br /> <br />EQUIPMENT REVIEW°COMMITTEE <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec requested the appointment of a Council Equipment Review <br />Committee to look at all the City's equipement to see what the City's actual <br />needs are in this area and condition of present equipment. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Cox and seconded by Councilman Muller to appoint <br />Councilman Mickelson, Street Superintendent Merle Mevissen and City <br />Adminis'trator Schnelle to the Equipment Review Committee for the purpose <br />of reviewing all City equipment in regards to actual need and condition <br />of same. Further, report back their findings to Council. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes Mayor Gamec, Councilman Muller, Councilman <br />Reimann and Councilman Cox. Voting no None. Councilman Mickelson Abstained. <br /> <br />COUNCIL NEW BUSINESS <br /> <br />INSTALLATION OF CERTAIN SIGN AT CITY HALL AS REQUESTED BY CITY STAFF <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Cox and seconded by Councilman Reimann to approve <br />of the following signs for in front of City Hall: <br /> <br />1) Police squad parking to be allowed a portable sign only during <br /> the period of winter when there is snow on the ground. During <br /> all other periods of time the police will utilize the parking <br /> in the rear of the building as previously established for them. <br />2) Parking for the handicap - to allow for a sign for the handicap <br /> in the area set aside for such parking. The sign will be an up <br /> right so it is clearly distinguishable for the handicap. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes Mayor Gamec, Councilman Muller, Councilman <br />Reimann, Councilman Mickelson and Councilman Cox. Voting no None. <br /> <br /> <br />
