2/g~/79 <br /> <br />In regards to ~Jll concero, ing the Anoka Wastewater Treatment Plant, after lenghty <br />discossion, Dexter stated that this could be left in for now, and rediscussed <br />at the time of Public Nearings. Pete Raatikka stated that they are in the <br />process of doing a study for the Metro Waste Conm. to determine possible ex- <br />pansion or relocation upstream. Art Dorm stated that he was in favor of <br />leaving the policy in if it would effect sewer for Ramsey, John Lichter stated <br />that upgrading would probably be cheaper for Ramsey than remo~l of the facility. <br />Dexter stated the main difference between this plant and the one South of the <br />Cities was that the area inmediately below had different use (Coon Rapids Dam <br />Recreational Area). ConmRssion members stated that they would like the Council's <br />~put in regards to this policy, <br /> <br />Final discussion included a conment from Art Dunn that items ~J4,5,9,10, &ll <br />could in his opinion be struck from the firml draft and Dexter Marston <br />expla~ed that a certain amount of editing will be done on the final draft, <br />and also that copies of n~del ordinances would be coming reflecting im.~ <br />plemenation. Dexter also commented that ~e~ had received complaints from <br />people that they bad not been notified of meetings, It vas determined that <br />the ~eetings have been in the Union, and that mailed notices would go out <br />for the Public Hearings, <br /> <br />~atewa~_ North Plat II <br />Peter Raatikka reported that the drainage problem was still being worked out, <br />and Lloyd stated that the Board of Adjustment would be handling the 10t size <br />question, Also, Lloyd explained that the Council will be requesting input <br />from the Commission in regards to the entire Industrial area~ Ken Peterson <br />asked Mr, Greenberg what he felt about 2,5 acre sites~ Mr~ Greerberg stated <br />that if the 2~ 5 acre site would provide its own drainage versus a holding <br />pond for the plat of 1 acre lots, he would be in favor of it, This will <br />be on the agenda for the March 5th meeting~ <br /> <br />Liesurevale Estates - (Formerly Pondvale Estates) <br />~f~e{ reviewing the Engineer's Report, it was the consensus of the Conmission <br />that they proceed with the Prelim/nary noting the recoramendations of <br />the Engineer in the letter of 2/19/79, and that they obtain a letter from <br />the Iiwy Dept in regards to the accesses~ Also, the Cormaission would like <br />an Attorney's opinion in regards to the restrictive covenants on the plat, <br /> <br />Tierra Estates - Sketch Plan. <br />~ter reviewing the Engineer's Report, it was the consensus of the Conmission <br />that they proceed with the Preliminary noting the recoumendations of <br />the Engineer in the letter of 2/19/79, and that they obtain a letter from <br />the Hwy.- Dept. regarding the access onto ~83 and speed limit . <br /> <br />Sorteber~ Plat ~ " ' <br />Pete Raatikka stated that in talking to Mr. Ruud, the Hwy. Dept. would like <br />the right-of-way to be consistent on #83, and Mr. Sorteberg will have to <br />change the easements to 75' from 60' for ~83. <br /> <br />Motion by Brad Bodle, seconded by Art Dunn to adjourn.
