RESOLUTION RE AUGUST E~ GROSSLEIN A) PROCf~]DURAL HISTORY 1) The applicant applied on December 21, 1978 for a '"20' variance on south side facing residential" for the property legally described as follows: That part of Lot 26 Auditors Subdivision No. 96, Anoka County, M~mesota described as follows: Beginning at the southwest corner of Lot 13 in said Auditors Subdivision then South 29 degrees 22 minutes West on the Westerly line of Lot 26 for a dista~ce of 260 feet; thence South 65 degrees 32 minutes East for a distance of 250 feet, thence North 29 degrees 22 minutes East for a distance of 260 feet, more or less, to the Southeast corner of said Lot 13; thence Westerly along the Southerly line of I~t 13, for a distance of 250 feet to the place of beginning, all as shown by the files and records of the Register of Deeds of Anoka County, ~iinnesota, and also known as 13557 Tungsten Street N.W., Anoka, Minnesota, 2) /he City mailed notice of the variance request and Board of Adjusts' ment public hearing on January 8, 1979 to all residents within 350' of the subject property. The City also published notice of the January 8, 1979 public hearing in the Anoka County Union on December ~29, 1978~ The Board of Adjustment held a public hearing on the application re- quest on January 8,1979 at 7:45 P,M. This public hearing ~s con- tinued to January 22, 1979 in order to obtain the City Engineers' report on the subject. 4) The City Staff met with residents and the applicant on Jan~mry 15, 1979 in order to define the issues and a memo of said meeting was presented to the Council dated January 19, 1979. 5) The City Engineer presented his written report to the Board of Adjustment on January 22, 1979. 6) The Board of Adjustment again convened the continued public hearing of January 8, 1979 on January 29, 1979. At the continued public hearing on January 29, 1979 the Board detenrined that since the re- quired E,Q.B. response would not be received until after February 16, 1979, the public hearing should again be continued to February 26, 1979.
