3) Health Insurance: We have now just recently been accepted by Hennepin <br />County purchasing. So now we can make application to get our City employees <br />covered by the Hennepin County Purchasing Group Health Plan. Again, I <br />will be taking this all to the Council Personnel Committee. <br /> <br />4) Council Committee regarding Transportation and City Equipment: This <br /> <br />committee met and the minutes have been enclosed in this agenda. The <br />contents of this meeting should be discussed at Council. <br /> <br />5) Revenue Sharing: This is another area where we are going to have to <br />research out and see where we are coming up on the short end. This does <br />not involve any legislation. The task here will be to research out the <br />accuracy of the factors use in the computation for the City of Ramsey. <br /> <br />6) Meeting with Metro Council in regards to Comprehensive Plan and Metro <br />Grant for Land Planning. Mayor Gamec will address this issue. In <br />attendance at this meeting were Lee Start and Bob Mazanee of the Metro <br />Councils Dick Sha, City Engineer; Mayor Gamec, Dexter Marston, Planner; <br />Lloyd G. Schnelle, City Administrator. I a~ also enclosing a copy of the <br />memorandum which was discussed at this meeting and is an enclosure to this <br />staff report. <br /> <br />Question - Why the meeting? I asked that this meeting be held to go over <br />how the Metro Land Planning Grant was going to fit into our Comprehensive <br />Plan. <br /> <br />7) Industrial Blvd. Regard Schenk Property: Meeting with Mr. Schenk had <br />to be cancelled and was rescheduled for next week. <br /> <br />8) Zoning Problem on Schenk Property: This will be going before the <br />Planning Commission on April 2~ 1979. <br /> <br />9) Faith Baptist Church: This went to court on March 23, 1979~ in re- <br />gards to our issuance of a red tag. The judge issued a temporary restrain- <br />ing order which permits the church to go ahead with all their repair <br />work including the closing in of the garage with a wall which created the <br />red tagging. <br /> <br />LGS:sb <br /> <br /> <br />
