no. <br /> Our Mission: To work togettrer to resposibty grow our community,and to provide quality.cost-effective.and efficient government services. <br /> CC Regular Session 7. 5. <br /> Meeting Date: 01/10/2017 <br /> By: Jeff Katers,Police <br /> Information <br /> Title: <br /> Adopt Resolution#17-01-017 Authorizing the Joint and Cooperative Agreement for the Formation and <br /> Administration of the Anoka-Hennepin Narcotics and Violent Crimes Task Force <br /> Purpose/Background: <br /> The purpose of this case it to consider adopting Resolution#17-01-010 approving a Joint Powers Agreement <br /> between the City of Ramsey and the 8 cities and 1 county which comprise the Anoka Hennepin Narcotics and <br /> Violent Crimes Task Force (AHNVCTF)also known as the drug task force The attached JPA defines the agreed <br /> upon terms and conditions required for the city of Ramsey to participate in AHNVCTF operations and governance. <br /> Background: <br /> The assignment of a Ramsey Police Officer to the AHNVCTF is included in the city strategic plan and this position <br /> has been budgeted for in 2017. <br /> Funding Source: <br /> A police officer position and assignment to the AHNVCTF was budgeted for in City of Ramsey's 2017 approved <br /> budget.
