ORDINANCE NO, 79-4 <br /> <br />AM~Jq~]~f dO CHA~fER 170.01 SECTIONS 170. 014B AND 170,0111 OF THE <br />CI'I% OODE OF RAb~E~Y, MINNESOTA. <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 170.01 ENTITLED ZONING AND SPECIFICALLY <br />7~qDING SECTIONS 170.014B AND 170.0111 ENTIIV.ED "ACCESSORY USES AND <br />DEF]]qlTIONS" RESPECTIVELY. <br /> <br />The Cituf Council of the City of Ramsey does hereby ordain: <br /> <br />Section 1. <br /> <br />Chapter 170.014B of the City Code of Ramsey, biinnesota is hereby <br />a~ended by the following additional paragraphs: <br /> <br />5) Ail accessory buildings shall have a design and outside <br />facing finish which is compatible as determined by the build- <br />lng inspector withall other buildings located within 350' <br />of the accessory building. No single accessory building shall <br />be larger than 624 square feet if it is to be located on a <br />parcel of land two and one-half (2~) acres or less in size, <br />and not larger than 1,200 square feet if it is to be located <br />on a parcel of land larger than two and one-half (2~) acres, <br />The combination of two (2) or r~ore accessory~buildings on a <br />.parcel of land a~wo and one-half (2~) acres or less in size <br />shall not exceed a total square footage of 624 and if located <br />on a parcel of land larger th~n~ and one-half (2~) acres <br />shall not exceed a total sq~mre footage of 1,200, <br /> <br />6) Any proposed accessory building shall be located on the <br />parcel of land so as to allow for orderly future resubdivision <br />of a parcel on which the building is to be located. Prior to <br />issuance of a building permit for the building, the applicant <br />shall provide the building inspector witha sketch plan showing <br />the location of the proposed building. The building inspector <br />shall not issue the permit if he determines the proposed loca- <br />tionwill not allow for orderly future resubdivision of the <br />parcel. <br /> <br />Section 2. <br /> <br />The definition of Accessory Building in Section 170,0111 is hereby <br />amended to read as follows: <br /> <br /> 1) "Accessory Building is any subordinate building or use cus- <br /> tomarily incidental and subordinate to the principal use and <br /> located on the same lot as the principal use. An attached <br /> garage, or a detached garage where the dwelling does not have <br /> an attached garage, and which :attached or detached garage does <br /> <br /> <br />
