FROM <br />ARMSTRONG BOULEVARD TO VARIOLITE (SORTEBERG ADDITION). <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec asked if the City would have to bond for the City's share of <br />the project for $27,850 or if the City could do some of the work themselves. <br /> <br />Mr. Raatikka said the City could do the grading and Class V. <br /> <br />Administrator Schnelle said this would have to be charged to time to the <br />project even though the General Fund pays for it. <br /> <br />Councilman Reimann asked if this expense would affect the City's taxes. <br />Engineer Raatikka said that it would not, not directly. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Cox, seconded by Councilman Reimann to accept the <br />Feasibility Study for 161st Avenue N.W. from Armstrong Boulevard N.W. to <br />Variolite Street N.W. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilman Cox, Councilman <br />Reimann and Councilman Sorteberg. Voting no: None. <br /> <br />RECEIVING FEASIBILITY REPORT FOR IMPROVEMENT OF 161ST AVENUB N.W. FROM <br /> <br />ARMSTRONG BOULEVARD TO LLAMA'STREET, THEN:LLAMA'STREET'N.W; FROM'161ST <br />AVENUE N.W. TO 163RD AVENUE N.W. (OAKRDIGE ESTATES'PLAT). <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec questioned why there is a breakdown with two different amounts <br />in this assessment. <br /> <br />Engineer Raatikka replied that on normal residential streets you have <br />people abutting the property who pay the assessment, however, on this <br />project you have other benefitting property owners in the project that <br />do not directly abut the street. <br /> <br /> <br />
