The members include A1 Sorteberg, <br />Mr. Don Greenberg, Mr. Bob Muller, Mr. BoydHanson, Mr. Roger Meyers and' <br />Ms. Theresa Henderson. <br /> <br />NEW BUSINESS <br /> <br />STREET IMPROVEMENT FOR BROOKVIEW ESTATES <br /> <br />A formal feasibility study for Brookview Estates was presented by City <br />Bngineer Raatikka. It was the general concensus of the Council to have <br />the formal public hearing in January. <br /> <br />Mr. Mike Kovarwas present to discuss his proposed addition to his present <br />building on Highway #10. Mr. Kovar~s plant is a non,conforming use in a <br />Commercial Area, He wants to construct anaddition.70~ x 220' with park- <br />ing and loading ramp on the side facing the railroad tracks. The front <br />of this building will be screened by treesand the business that is <br />operating on the balance of the land that fronts State Highway #10. <br /> <br />Motionby Councilman Mickelson-and seconded..byCouncilman. Reimannto <br />grant a vari.ance from the ordinance to construct his proposed addition. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes Councilman Gamec, Councilman~.Mickelson, Council? <br />man Reimann, Councilman Muller and Mayor COx..Voting no None, <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Mickelson and seconded by Councilman Reimann to grant <br />a conditional use permit to KovarManufacturing to continue in operation <br />as he is today and that the addition to his building be in conformance to <br />the Building Official's instructions for shrubs, asthetics of building, <br />etc. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes Councilman Gamec, Councilman Mickelson, Council- <br />man Reimann, Councilman MullerandMay0rCox. Voting no None. - <br /> <br />Motion by councilman Gamec and seconded by councilman Reimann to waive the <br />setback requirement of 10 feet on the south of the lot as KovafManufacturing <br />will be five feet from the property line.' <br /> <br />Motion carried.
