.PAGE 11 <br />MAy 29,'1979 <br />REGULAR COUNCIL'MEETING <br /> <br />Motion died, no second. <br /> <br />Discussion was held on the cul de sac called "Nowthen Circle" and 150th Street <br />intersecting with County Road 5 too close to the schoool. Mention was made that <br />149th Lane should be blacktopped at the same time - also the possibility of an <br />emergency lane. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Cox, seconded by Councilman Reimann to table this matter until <br />June 12, for future discussion and to review accesses to the SUrrounding area. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmen Cox, Mickelson, Reimann <br />and Sorteberg. Voting no: None. <br /> <br />MENKVELD PINE HILLS NORTH - REQUEST FOR PRELIMINARY PLAT APPROVAL <br /> <br />Mr. Menkveld a~peared before Council requesting preliminary plat approval for <br />Menkveld Pine Hills North. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Sorteberg, seconded by Councilman Cox to approve the preliminary <br />plat of Menkveld Pine Hills North~subject to the Planning g Zoning Commission <br />recommendations as follows: <br /> <br /> 1. Variances be granted to lots 1 g 2 to allow lots deficient in width. <br /> 2. Variance be granted regarding p~oviding soil data. <br /> 3. Developer comply with Articlea 170.038H Of the City Code requiring <br /> evaluation of lots proposed for individual sewage treatment systems <br /> by the plumbing inspector. <br /> 4. Variance be gmanted to article 170.04 (4) of the Code for lot 2 which does <br /> not meet the 25% requirement for contiguous Class I land. <br /> 5. Developer conform with the recommendations #4, 5 and 6 of the <br /> engineer's letter of 5/21/79 ( Profile and width of existing street along with <br /> transition to proposed street, grading plan, resubdivision[plan, payment <br /> of park fee.) <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmen Cox, Mickelson, Reimann <br />and Sorteberg. Voting no: None. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Cox, seconded by Councilan Mickelson to grant a variance for <br />lots i and 2 to allow lots deficient in width.' <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmen Cox, Mickelson, Reimann <br />and Sorteberg. Voting no: None. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Cox to adjourn.the meeting. <br /> <br />Motion died, no second. <br /> <br />BERNARD WAHLERT REGARDING MOVING A STORAGE BUILDING~ <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Cox, seconded by Councilman Mickelson to approve the request <br />of Mr. Bernard Wahlert, 17710 Tonto Street to move onto this property a 14 x 20 foot <br />storage building to be used forstorage of snowmobiles etc., upon payment of the <br />permit fee. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmen Cox, Mickelson, Reimann <br />and Sorteberg. Voting no: None. <br /> <br /> <br />
