REQUEST FOR A PRIVATE KENNEL LICENSE The following pertains to 110.0319 Privat~ Kennels, questions a. through h. Se Taylor's Woodland Kennels John D. and Gail A. Taylor 5510 156th Lane NW Anoka, MN 55303 The maximum number of animals will vary between 3 and 5. Currently the animal are outside from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. and are in during the evening hours and all nigh~,~ I plan to continue this pr.ac~ice as it has worked ou~ well. The new kennel structure is right in the middle of our lot, and the distance of all existing and proposed kennel structures in relation to abutting property is as follows: From west side' of kennel to property line - 88 feet From east side of kennel to property line R1 feet *From north side of kennel to property tine~ 51 feet From soutk side of kennel to Property line- .94 feet (SEE ATTACHED LOT SURVEY) ~' *To the north is.~the property of the Boy Scout Camp. The type of fencing and .construction of Kennel is as follows: The outside will consist of chain link fencing comprising four separate runs. The runs will be made of cement whick will be graded slightly for run off of snow and rain and for sanitary reasons. The building will be constructed of wood with a slanted roof away from outside kennel run area to keep snow and run off out of runs. -One run will be larger both inside and out as it will be used for breeding and whelping purposes. There will be four areas inside that can be closed off from outside during severe weather. There will be storage shelves built inSide for dog show equipment, medicine, and food. My present kennel is cleaned eVery day, and presently waste is put in plastic garbage bags for pick up. With construction of new kennel, two steel waste dispensers will be buried in ground. Lime is poured directly on waste for odor control and removal. Lids are flush with the ground on these dispensers.
