Whereas, the City wishes to participate il federally <br />funded reimbursement program for the purchase of moving radar to reduce <br />speeds, thereby reducing accidents, injuries and fatalities. <br /> <br />Whereas, the department will provide up to 50% reimbursement of the price per <br />radar unit, but not to exceed $259.50 per unit as <br />approved in Exhibit I. <br /> <br />Now, therefore, in consideration of the mutual convenant and agreements <br />as hereinafter set forth, th~ 0arties to this grant agreement mutually <br /> <br />agree as follows: .. <br /> <br />Grant Ag[eement <br /> <br />A. Attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference is a copy <br /> of the Application for Soeeo Measurement Equipment, DPS form <br /> <br /> 7310 completed~by the ~ity . and hereby <br /> made a Bart hereof as Exhibit I. <br /> <br /> B. The speed measurement equipment specified in the application <br /> shall be purchased prior to September 30, 1979, unless the <br /> grant period is extended by mutual consent of the parties. <br /> Such consent may be given by letter. <br /> <br />Reimbursement <br /> <br />The Department shall reimburse the City in the amount of <br /> <br />50% of the net contract price of the radar unit or in the amount <br />of $2B9.SD.per-radar unit whichever is less, upon. ~eceipt of the <br />following: <br /> <br />Copy of the invoice/s listing the unit/s purchased and the price of <br />each unit; Copy of the cancelled check o~ a certification by a fiscal <br />officer that payment has been made for a particular piece of equipment; <br />Completed signed copy of Equipment Record Card, DPS form 7304; <br /> <br />Signed original copy of clai~ for reimbursement. <br /> <br /> <br />
