Schnelle checked with the City Attorney, and there is nothing the City can do about This matter. Tier~a Estates, Inc. - P~oposed sketch plan: A proposed sketch plan was presented showing 200 acres with ~9 2,5 acre minimum lots and 31 acres of pa~k dedication along both sides of trott brook, and using existing ponds fop dmainage areas with dmalnage easements on all water ways. Alon~ Ammst~ong between 151st § 167th Ken PeTePson. expl~ined that wheh talkJng with the Park CommissJon, they were concerned with access to the ,pa~k land, and suggested that the preliminary indicate'an area suitable fop parking off offthe actual'.roadway. Ron West pointed out that this park land is part of the City's g~eenb~lt area and overall Trail system of the future, and also questioned whether the Highway Dept. had been contacted yet since ~83 has several blind spots which will have to be considemed. Discussion of responsibility fo~ upg~adin~ 161st was briefly discussed. Art Dunn stated that when the developers ~ere figuring adequate area for sewers, slopes must be taken into consideration. The concensus of the Commission was for the developer to proceed with the p~elimina~y fop the Ma~ch meeting. M~. Looyen was p~esent with a sketch plan foP. the corner of 167th & ~5 and explained how he has already paid one park fee when he built his home, M~. Clifton L. Momse was present and stated that he did not have any plans rom the adjacent prdpemty which he owns, .
