The variance he is requesting will make his side yard <br />less than the ten (10) foot requirement which-is established <br />by the City Code. His house is located 24 feet from his property <br />line on the side yard where he wants to construct the attached <br />double garage. The neighbors house is located approximately <br />72 feet from his property line. <br /> <br />Consequently, if he constructs a 24 x 22 foot garage, he will <br />have only two (2) feet between his and his neighbors property <br />line. <br /> <br />In view of this he is requesting an eight (8) foot variance to <br />the side yard setback which might not be a problem now with <br />this neighbor, but in the future it could be a problem because <br />of encroachment onto the neighbors property. <br /> <br /> <br />
