Consensus of the Council is that the Park Commission and the City Engineer <br />are to come up with the best use of the money to be expended for improving <br />Titterud Park not'to exceed $35,000. (After the next Park Commission meeting <br />this is to be returned to Council in July for their action) <br /> <br />TREE INSPECTOR <br /> <br />Request of the tree inspector to perform a study of diseased trees <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Mickelson and seconded by Councilman Sorteberg to <br />authorize the Tree Inspector to take a sumvey of the dying Elms and Oaks <br />at a cost of $100 plus mileage not to exceed 20 hours and not to exceed <br />200 miles.. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes: Acting Mayor Reimann, Councilmen Mickelson <br />and Sorteberg. Voting no: None. <br /> <br />LEE'S LANDSCAPING CONTRACT <br /> <br />Mr. Crawley, Lee's Landscaping, was present and raised a question on the <br />the greenhouse. The wording in the Development Contract, No. V, was changed <br />to read Developer may construct a minimum of 500, maximum of 1,000 square <br />foot temporary plastic greenhouse---. <br /> <br />Discussion was held on the equipment storage area and screening fence. <br /> <br />Councilman Sorteberg said he is hot in favor of a redwood screening fence. <br /> <br />Discussion held on the UMB-2 zoning of the property. <br /> <br />It was decided -- alternate Evergreen and Russian Olives or comparable <br />plantings are to be employed for screening along CSAH No. 5 to screen the <br />equipment area from'public view and along the parking area near CSAH No. 5 <br />a screening of berm and shrubs is to be employed to screen this area from <br />public view and that 100 percent of the front and east sides-of the building <br />are to be split fieldstone faced. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Sorteberg, seconded by Councilman Mickelson to approve <br />the Development Contract between Lee's Landscaping and the City of Ramsey <br />with the changes. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting ~e~: Acting Mayor Reimann, CoUncilmen Miekelson <br />and Sorteberg. Voting no: None. <br /> <br />C.E.T.A CONTRACT <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Sorteberg, seconded by-Councilman Mickelson to accept the <br />contract for C.E.T.A. and authorize the Acting Mayor to sign it. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes: Acting Mayor Reim~n4.Councilmen Mickelson and <br />Sorteberg. Voting no: None. <br /> <br />BILLS'FOR'APPROVAL <br /> <br />Motionuby coUncilman Reimann and seconded by Councilman Mickelson to pay the <br />bills for'the'month Of'June 1979 in the'total amount of'$£25,296.00. <br /> Regular~Council Meeting <br /> June 25, 1979 <br /> <br /> <br />
