Auguet 17, 1979 <br /> <br />Dear Program Manager: <br /> <br />Your 1979 shade tree disease control program and application <br />for grant-in-aid from the Minnesota Shade Tree Program have <br />been approved. The Minnesota Shade Tree Program will reim- <br />burse 41 percent of your eligible sanitation and reforestation <br />expense-~. These costs must be listed on the Request for Payment <br />(RFP) forms. Only those actual, eligible costs incurred in <br />calendar year 1979 will be reimbursed, <br /> <br />If your city has a population of less than 4,000, you will be <br />reimbursed for 90 percent of the cost of planting the first 50 <br />trees on public property. The maximum reimbursement for any <br />one city for these 50 trees is $3,000.00, or $60 per tree planted <br />on public property. The cost of any trees planted after the <br />first 50 will be reimbursed at .41~ percent. The cost of plantt.ng <br />the first 50 trees must be recorded separately from other sani- <br />tation and reforestation .expenses. A special RFP will be sent <br />to you to record the cost of those first 50 trees. <br /> <br />The Request for Payment forms and an instruction sheet for sub- <br />mitring and completing the forms will be sent separately.
