May 5, 1975 The meeting was called to order at 7:30 p.m. by the Mayor, Mr, Cox. Present were Mr. Gotham, Mr. Reimann, Mr. Mickelson, and Mrs. Oliphant. Mr. Steffen and Mr. Fricke were also present. Pledge was given to the flaK. This flag was donated to the ·City of Ramsey by Mrs. Charles Perkins. It was used at the funeral of her husband. We will invite Mrs. Perkins to attend our Council meeting on ~ay 27th. Bertha Mae Smith: She came back to see the Council about divid- ing 20 acres on Highway No. 5. Mr. Fricke suggested a possible way to handle the division of this land without creating conflicts in the area. Mr. Fricke suggested that minimum restrictions be used now with the specification that any further division would have to come under the subdivision ordinance. Mr. Mickelson moved to allow a variance on Parcel #6600, which is approximately acres more or less in the south half of Sec. lC, to allow it to be divided into four equal lots with the following, deed restrictions: Lot #1 no access to County Road'5;· Lot #2 'to be required to provide a 40 foot easement for Lot #1 only'at 166th Lane; Lot #3 no access to County Road 5; Lot #4 to be required to provide a &O foot ease- ment to Lot #3 at 167th Ave. with the permission Of the City Attor- ney. Lots are to be in the order indicated on numbered form, south to north Consecutively. Seconded by Mr. Cox; Mr. Reimann'feels there should be something mentioned about the location of the house.
