Motion by Councilman Reimann, seconded by Councilman Cox to issue a <br />temporary permit to sell $.2 beer io the Anoka Fire Department on <br />September 9, 1979 from 12:00 NOON to 7:00 P.M. and waive the fee. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmen Cox, Reimann and <br />Sorteberg. Voting no: None. <br /> <br />PROPOSED AME~NT TO SE6TION 130.0112 OF THE CITY CODE' <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Reimann and seconded by Councilman COx to <br />adopt the amendment to Section 130.0112 of the City Code <br />exempting from general contractor licensing requirement any individual <br />who applies to the City for a permit to build a home to be occupied by <br />himself. However, if the same individual makes another application <br />to construct another home to be occupied by himself within two years <br />from the date of the first building permit application, a general <br />contracting license shall then be required for any structure built <br />within the two year period. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmen COx, Reimann and <br />Sorteberg. Voting no: None. <br /> <br />TRANSFER OF FUNDS FROM GENERAL TO PARK FUND <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Cox, seconded by Councilman Reimann to authorize <br />transfer from General Fund Surplus, $420.00 to the Park Fund to cover <br />cost of per diem payment to Park and Recreation Commission members. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmen Reimann and <br />Serteberg. Voting no: None. Absent: Councilman Mickelson <br /> <br />REZONING FROM R-1 TO INDUSTRIAL; CASE 'OF 'JACK 'MENKVELD <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec commented that this .rezoning would conform to the City's <br />program and at the time of platting of this land the City will ask <br />for road easement for Industry Boulevard. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Reimann and seconded by Councilman Sorteberg <br />to direct the staff to prepare a "finding of fact" for approving <br />or disapproving this rezoning request. <br /> <br />Motion Carried. Voting yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmen Reimann and <br />Sorteberg. Voting no: None. <br /> <br />SIGN PERMIT APPLICATION FORM AND PROPOSED FEES <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Cox and seconded by Councilman Reimann to adopt <br />Resolution No. 79-56 establishing the sign permit form, No. 793PZ(application) <br />and Sign Permit, No. 0797PZ, and fee schedule as presented. <br /> <br />The FOLLOWING SCHEDULE OF FEES FOR SIGN PERMITS IS ESTABLISHED: <br /> <br />Ail newly constructed onsite business and advertising signs: $5.00 <br />the first five square feet; $.2S for each additional square foot <br />thereafter.
