PUBLIC HEARING CITY OF RAMSEY ANOKA COUNTY STATE OF MINNESOTA Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the Ramsey City Council held a public hearing on September 24, 1979, at the Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Boulevard N.W., Ramsey, Minnesota 55303 Members Present: Mayor Gamec Councilman Cox Councilman Mickelson Councilman Reimann Councilman Sorteberg Also Present: Adm. Schnelle Engineer Raatikka Attorney Goodrich Mayor Gamec called the public hearing to order at 7:32 P.M. and led the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. Mayor Gamec explained that the reason for this second hearing is that there was a necessity to revise the public hearing notice that was originally sent out and therefore hold another hearing to properly correct the notice. It was discovered that part of 170th Lane was in actuality Neon Street and there was no reference made to Neon Street being part of the improvement project, originally. Mayor Gamec noted a letter from Mr. R. Bolduc, Rt 1, Box 271, Anoka regarding his mailing being sent to the wrong address, 17035 St. Francis Boulevard is the correct address. Engineer Raatikka described the project. It is just about c(mpleted except for some restoration work. The project is proposed to be assessed on a unit basis, 49 total lots including undeveloped property, units comprised of 2½acre lots with a minimum of 200 feet of frontage, a cost of $1575 is estimated cost per unit Mayor Gamec read a letter from Mr. Bolduc and there was no further citizen input or comments. Motion by Councilman Reimann and seconded by Councilman Mickelson ~o close the public hearing. Motion carried. Voting yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmen Cox, Mickelson, Reimann and Sorteberg.
