Councilman Cox noted that ~he salary figures shown in the budget are not <br />next year's salary rates for employees, they are the 1979 salaries. <br /> <br />Councilman Sorteberg asked about the reforestation project. <br /> <br />Councilman Reimann replied that they intend to see how the present project <br />turns out before they purchase any more trees. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Reimann and seconded by Councilman Sorteberg to <br />adopt Resolution No. 79-83, adopting the 1980 Budget for the City of Ramsey <br />and certifying to the County for tax levy $474,241 for General Fund expendi- <br />tures and $23,475 in Park and Recreation Fund, for a total tax levy of <br />$497,716. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilman Mickelson~ <br />Councilman Reimann and Councilman Sorteberg. Voting no: Councilman Cox. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Reimann and seconded by Councilman Sorteberg to <br />adjourn the meeting. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmen Cox, Mickelson, Reimann <br />and Sorteberg.
